Bobcat is the first badge a boy earns when joining Cub Scouts
Lion
Starting fall 2016, Lions, a new program Boy Scouts of America for kindergarten boys
Tiger Cub
A boy who is 7 years old or is in the first grade joins Cub Scouting with his parent or adult guardian. Together, they go on adventures and complete rank requirements.
Bear
A boy who is 9 years old or is in the third grade is a Bear. Adventure continues in Bear Handbook requirements and electives.
Wolf
A boy who is 8 years old or is in the second grade is a Wolf. Many adventures are found in the Wolf Handbook.
Webelos
A boy who is 10 years old or is in the fourth grade is a Webelos Scout finds adventures in the Webelos Handbook. As he grows, so does the activities and adventures.
Arrow of Light
The highest rank in Cub Scouting is the Arrow of Light. Scouts must complete four required adventures and three elective adventures to earn the Arrow of Light rank.
