October 27th Party
Join us October 27 for a pumpkin carving party in the park. Please bring a cleaned out pumpkin and tools to carve your own creation. See you at 6 pm.

Meeting Plans for October, November, and December 2020
With the sun setting earlier, the troop will be meeting at 6 pm for the rest of October. In November, the meetings will be moving to Sunday afternoon at 3 p.m. for the rest of the year. While the tree lot is open, the Sunday meetings will be at the tree lot. December 13th will be the last meeting of the year. We will be celebrating the year end with a party in the park. Scouting for Food, tree sales, merit badge classes related to the tree sales, sled building, Scout skills/ knowledge to name a few planned activities in the next few months. January, the troop will be moving indoors. Location to be announced.
Eagle Project Update
Thanks for all your work on Max’s Eagle Project! The frame of the bird blind is close to complete. Next step is putting on the lattice and supports. Watch for emails of the final day of work.
Troop Meeting Plans
The troop will continue to meet in the park through October. Join us in the back part of Kristin Armstrong Park.
Eagle Project 10th and 17th
I am planning my Eagle Project on the Saturdays of October 10th and 17th. We will be rebuilding an old bird blind at the MK Nature Center on Walnut Street. October 10th starting at 10 am at the front entrance of the MK Nature Center, we will be tearing down the old bird blind. October 17th we will be meeting at 10 again to rebuilt the bird blind. Make sure to bring your own water bottle, lunch and working gloves. We will provide extra water and snacks. Look forward to working with you guys on this community project! -Max Palmer
